Global Infras(up 4.99%), Energy Development Company(up 4.98%), Orient Green Power Company(up 4.55%), Reliance Power(up 4.46%), DPSC(up 3.65%), Tata Power Company(up 3.63%), NLC India(up 3.13%), Alstom T&D India(up 2.57%) and Karma Energy(up 2.36%) were among the top gainers.
Indowind Energy(down 4.78%), Indo Tech Transformers(down 1.57%), Voltamp Transformers(down 0.74%) and Inox wind(down 0.47%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 68.0 points up at 17571.35, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 204.97 points at 58869.3 at around 10:50AM.
Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 4.9%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 4.33%), Coal India(up 2.4%), Bharti Airtel(up 2.12%), NTPC(up 1.8%), SBI Life(up 1.63%), ICICI Bank(up 1.62%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 1.53%), Indian Oil Corporation(up 1.51%) and Power Grid Corporation of India(up 1.41%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Tech Mahindra(down 1.42%), Maruti Suzuki(down 1.34%), Infosys(down 1.04%), Divis Laboratories(down 0.91%), Grasim Industries(down 0.69%), Wipro(down 0.59%), Eicher Motors(down 0.59%), Titan Company Ltd(down 0.58%), Cipla(down 0.56%) and TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 0.54%) were trading in the red.
