Karma Energy(down 3.72%), JSW Energy(down 1.62%), PTC India(down 1.45%), Indo Tech Transformers(down 0.96%), KEC International(down 0.64%), NHPC(down 0.64%), NTPC(down 0.52%), Inox wind(down 0.43%), Torrent Power(down 0.42%) and Alstom T&D India(down 0.26%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 34.25 points up at 17449.3, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 150.27 points at 58491.26 at around 11:11AM.
Reliance Industries(up 3.64%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 1.51%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 1.27%), Divis Laboratories(up 1.01%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(up 0.84%), Tech Mahindra(up 0.77%), HCL Technologies(up 0.74%), Infosys(up 0.59%), Tata Motors(up 0.38%) and Grasim Industries(up 0.38%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Shree Cement(down 1.59%), ICICI Bank(down 1.47%), Indian Oil Corporation(down 1.41%), Hindalco Industries(down 1.32%), Eicher Motors(down 1.13%), Hindustan Unilever(down 1.05%), Britannia Industries(down 0.89%), Coal India(down 0.88%), Asian Paints(down 0.83%) and Larsen & Toubro(down 0.82%) were trading in the red.
