NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 33.88 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 12.54 crore), Ibull Housing Fin(numbers of share traded: 11.10 crore), Tata Power(numbers of share traded: 8.01 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 7.42 crore), JP Associates(numbers of share traded: 6.68 crore), Trident Ltd(numbers of share traded: 6.51 crore), NALCO(numbers of share traded: 5.86 crore), SAIL(numbers of share traded: 5.62 crore) and PNB(numbers of share traded: 5.55 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 509.8 points down at 17026.45, while BSE Sensex ended down 1687.94 points at 57107.15.
On the other hand, JSW Steel Ltd.(down 7.67 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 6.72 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 6.61 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 5.99 per cent) and Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 5.94 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
