NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 16.27 crore), Trident Ltd(number of shares traded: 5.60 crore), GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 4.50 crore), Tata Power(number of shares traded: 3.68 crore), Tata Tele(number of shares traded: 3.03 crore), Ibull Housing Fin(number of shares traded: 2.76 crore), Ballarpur Inds.(number of shares traded: 2.72 crore), NALCO(number of shares traded: 2.53 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 2.52 crore) and Tata Motors(number of shares traded: 2.30 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:56AM in Friday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 430.15 points down at 17106.1, while BSE Sensex was down 1419.25 points at 57375.84 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Cipla Ltd.(up 5.05 per cent), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.(up 2.92 per cent), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd.(up 0.94 per cent), Britannia Industries Ltd.(up -0.34 per cent) and Nestle India Ltd.(up -0.35 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Tata Motors Ltd.(down 5.89 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(down 4.66 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 4.27 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 4.26 per cent) and Titan Company Ltd.(down 4.21 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
