DPSC(up 16.75%), Energy Development Company(up 4.82%), Indowind Energy(up 4.79%), Orient Green Power Company(up 4.73%), NTL(up 2.17%), K.P.I. Global Infras(up 1.60%), Karma Energy(up 1.30%) and Alstom T&D India(up 0.13%) were among the top gainers.
Tata Power Company(down 5.58%), ABBPP&SLTD(down 4.43%), KEC International(down 4.40%), Adani Transmissions(down 4.22%), Inox wind(down 3.62%), Reliance Power(down 3.51%), JSW Energy(down 3.15%), Jaiprakash Power Ventures(down 3.13%), NTPC(down 3.07%) and Adani Power(down 3.05%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 410.2 points down at 17126.05, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 1366.29 points at 57428.8 at around 10:41AM.
Cipla(up 4.76%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 2.25%) and Divis Laboratories(up 1.1%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Tata Motors(down 5.63%), Maruti Suzuki(down 4.48%), Hindalco Industries(down 4.21%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 4.13%), Bajaj Finance(down 4.04%), Tata Steel(down 4.0%), JSW Steel(down 3.92%), Bajaj Finserv(down 3.78%), State Bank of India(down 3.69%) and Titan Company Ltd(down 3.66%) were trading in the red.
