MAGADHSUGAR(down 4.07%), Shree Renuka Sugars(down 3.94%), Simbhaoli Sugars(down 3.94%), Bannari Amman Sugars(down 3.46%), Uttam Sugar Mills(down 2.89%), Ugar Sugar Works(down 2.72%), K.M.Sugar Mills(down 2.54%), Kothari Sugars & Chemicals(down 2.48%), Rana Sugars(down 2.41%) and Sakthi Sugars(down 2.38%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 376.75 points down at 17159.5, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 1262.08 points at 57533.01 at around 10:30AM.
Cipla(up 5.07%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 2.49%) and Divis Laboratories(up 1.05%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Tata Motors(down 5.03%), Hindalco Industries(down 4.34%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 4.16%), JSW Steel(down 3.86%), Maruti Suzuki(down 3.72%), Titan Company Ltd(down 3.7%), Tata Steel(down 3.69%), Bajaj Finance(down 3.61%), Bajaj Finserv(down 3.61%) and HDFC(down 3.51%) were trading in the red.
