NEW DELHI: Tata Power(Rs. 4870.75 crore), Zomato Ltd.(Rs. 3927.19 crore), MindTree(Rs. 3898.96 crore), SRF(Rs. 3855.84 crore), RIL(Rs. 3600.37 crore), Mphasis(Rs. 3283.14 crore), Godrej Properties(Rs. 3040.67 crore), IRCTC(Rs. 2969.08 crore), Infosys(Rs. 2537.95 crore) and Go Fashion(India)Ltd.(Rs. 2203.02 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Tuesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 70.75 points down at 16983.2, while BSE Sensex fell 195.71 points to 57064.87.
In the Nifty index, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 3.25 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(up 2.21 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 2.14 per cent), Shree Cements Ltd.(up 2.10 per cent) and Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 2.05 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Tata Steel Ltd.(down 3.91 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(down 2.86 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 2.75 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 2.67 per cent) and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.80 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
