Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty gained 73.2 points to 17127.15, while the BSE Sensex traded 262.56 points up at 57523.14.
On the other hand, Go Fashion(India)Ltd., Lovable Lingerie, JBM Auto, Mukta Arts and R Systems Intnl stocks hit their fresh 52-week highs today.
In the Nifty 50 index, Power Grid, SBI Life, Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv and Tata Motors were among the top gainers on the NSE.
Divis Labs, Kotak Bank, Hero MotoCorp, Adani Ports SEZ and Dr. Reddys were among the top losers.
