52-week high: Stock market update: 168 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 52.80 points up at 14814.35 on Tuesday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs on NSE were: Adani Enterprises, ADF Foods, Astral Poly Technik, BEL, BPCL, Grasim Industries, BEML, IIFL Finance, Just Dial, NMDC, NBCC (India), Radico Khaitan, SBI Card and UPL.

Overall, 34 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 15 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.

In the Nifty 50 index, BPCL, M&M, Tech Mahindra, Hero MotoCorp and NTPC were among top gainers, while ONGC, HDFC, Shree Cements, Dr. Reddy’s and Kotak Bank were trading in red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 137.43 points up at 49987.27. Traders were seen piling up position in Diversified, Defence, Metals – Ferrous, Packaging and Mining sectors, while selling were visible in Infrastructure, Electric/Electronics, Media & Entertainment, IT – Hardware and Auto sectors.
