Silver futures ease on subdued demand

NEW DELHI: Silver futures on Tuesday dropped Rs 339 to Rs 63,835 per kg as participants reduced their bets on low demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for May delivery tumbled by Rs 339, or 0.53 per cent, to Rs 63,835 per kg in a business turnover of 11,287 lots.

Silver traded lower by 1.22 per cent at USD 24.47 per ounce in New York.
