Wall Street’s main indexes opened little changed on Wednesday as investors cautiously awaited minutes from the Federal Reserve’s last meeting for clues on the central bank’s views on inflation and an economic recovery.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 54.7 points, or 0.16%, at the open to 33,484.41. The S&P500 fell 4.61 points, or 0.11%, at the open to 4,078.55, while the Nasdaq Composite dropped 5.1 points, or 0.03%, to 13,693.10 at the opening bell.
