Overall, 3 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 47 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.
In the Nifty 50 index, Cipla, Dr. Reddy’s, Britannia, Divi’s Labs and Nestle India were among top gainers, while Axis Bank, Bajaj Finance, ICICI Bank, Kotak Bank and SBI were trading in red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 1196.54 points down at 47635.49. Traders were seen piling up position in Diversified, Hospitals & Allied Services, IT – Hardware, Sugar and InvIT sectors, while selling were visible in Plastics, Trading, Banks, Shipping and Real Estate sectors.
