shree cements share price: Shree Cements shares gain 3.12% as Sensex rises

Shares of Ltd. traded 3.12 per cent up at Rs 28451.4 at 01:01PM (IST) on Monday, even as BSE benchmark Sensex gained 464.09 points to 51886.97. The scrip had settled at Rs 27591.7 in the previous session.

The stock quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low of Rs 32050.0 and Rs 18214.4, respectively.

As per BSE data, total traded volume on the counter till 01:01PM (IST) stood at 01:01PM shares with turnover at Rs 4.53 crore.

At the prevailing price, the stock trades at 44.65 times its trailing 12-month earnings per share of Rs 633.54 per share and 4.81 times its price-to-book value, BSE data showed.

A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher share price today because of growth expectations in the future. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.

The Beta value of the stock, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.16.


Shareholding Details

Promoters held 62.55 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2021, while FIIs owned 12.51 per cent and DIIs 10.8 per cent.
