shree cements share price: Shree Cements shares up 1.46% as Sensex falls

Shares of Ltd. gained 1.46 per cent to Rs 28646.5 in Thursday’s session as of 11:07AM (IST) even as the equity benchmark Sensex traded 53.86 points lower at 52448.12.

Earlier in the day, the stock witnessed a gap down start to the session. The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 32050.0 and a 52-week low of Rs 18214.4 on NSE. Around 909 shares changed hands on the counter till 11:07AM (IST).

The stock opened at Rs 28203.1 and has touched an intraday high and low of Rs 28680.0 and Rs 28100.0 during the session so far. The scrip quoted a price-to-earnings (PE) ratio of 45.19, earnings per share (EPS) of Rs 633.54 and price to book value (PB) of 4.81, while the return on equity (ROE) stood at Rs 14.84.


Promoter/ FII Holding
The promoters held 62.55 per cent stake in the company as of June 17, while FII and MF ownerships stood at 12.51 per cent and 8.3 per cent, respectively.

For the quarter ended 31-Mar-2021, the company reported consolidated sales of Rs 4333.37 crore, up 18.74 per cent from the previous quarter?s Rs 3649.38 crore and up 23.34 per cent from the same quarter a year ago. The company reported net profit of Rs 798.43 crore for the latest quarter, up 48.98 per cent from the corresponding quarter last year.
