NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea (numbers of share traded: 58.03 crore), YES Bank (numbers of share traded: 6.66 crore), NALCO (numbers of share traded: 5.03 crore), Bank of Baroda (numbers of share traded: 4.85 crore), JP Power (numbers of share traded: 4.53 crore), NMDC (numbers of share traded: 4.41 crore), PNB (numbers of share traded: 4.16 crore), South Indian Bnk (numbers of share traded: 3.83 crore), Wipro (numbers of share traded: 3.69 crore) and Ibull Real Estate (numbers of share traded: 3.67 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 0.8 points down at 15923.4, while BSE Sensex ended down 18.79 points at 53140.06.
On the other hand, HCL Technologies Ltd. (down 3.34 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd. (down 1.88 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (down 1.65 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (down 1.64 per cent) and Infosys Ltd. (down 1.60 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
