Indiabulls Real Estate (up 3.15 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects (up 2.06 per cent) were among the top gainers.
SOBHA (down 2.57 per cent), Brigade Enterprises (down 1.81 per cent), Hemisphere Properties India (down 0.95 per cent), Sunteck Realty (down 0.79 per cent) and Phoenix Mills (down 0.55 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was down 0.06 per cent at 397.3 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 102.05 points at 15821.35, while the BSE Sensex was down 385.67 points at 52754.39.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 19 were trading in the green, while 31 were in the red.

Shares of G R Infraprojects Ltd., Clean Science & Technology Ltd., MPS Infotecnics, Archies Ltd and Pearl Global hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Walpar Nutritions Ltd., Suryoday Small Finance Bank Ltd. and OCL Iron Steel hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
