NEW DELHI: Zomato Ltd. (number of shares traded: 42.72 crore), Vodafone Idea (number of shares traded: 9.20 crore), SAIL (number of shares traded: 3.87 crore), South Indian Bnk (number of shares traded: 1.87 crore), JP Power (number of shares traded: 1.70 crore), Vikas Multicorp (number of shares traded: 1.68 crore), YES Bank (number of shares traded: 1.45 crore), NMDC (number of shares traded: 1.35 crore), Tata Motors (number of shares traded: 1.34 crore) and Reliance Power (number of shares traded: 1.03 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:14AM in Friday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 21.6 points up at 15845.65, while BSE Sensex was up 84.27 points at 52921.48 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, HCL Technologies Ltd. (up 1.94 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd. (up 1.93 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd. (up 1.23 per cent), UltraTech Cement Ltd. (up 1.18 per cent) and Tata Consumer Products Ltd. (up 0.97 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Tech Mahindra Ltd. (down 2.29 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd. (down 2.02 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (down 1.69 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (down 1.13 per cent) and UPL Ltd. (down 0.88 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
