Shares of Brigade Enterprises (up 2.61 per cent), Sunteck Realty (up 0.75 per cent), Hemisphere Properties India (up 0.63 per cent) and Godrej Properties (up 0.59 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Indiabulls Real Estate (down 3.87 per cent), Phoenix Mills (down 1.83 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (down 1.69 per cent), DLF (down 1.47 per cent) and SOBHA (down 1.26 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.79 per cent down at 391.2.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 37.05 points at 15709.4, while the BSE Sensex stood down 135.05 points at 52443.71.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 21 ended in the green, while 29 closed in the red.

Shares of Synergy Green Ind, Shiva Texyarn, Golden Tobacco, Priti International and Century Texttiles hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Madhav Copper, PVP Ventures Ltd., Bright Solar, Viceroy Hotels and Alembic Pharma hit their fresh 52-week lows.
