NEW DELHI: Tata Steel (Rs. 4157.70 crore), Aurobindo Pharma (Rs. 1592.01 crore), TCS (Rs. 1500.61 crore), Bharti Airtel (Rs. 1310.40 crore), HDFC Bank (Rs. 1267.23 crore), RIL (Rs. 1257.80 crore), Tata Motors (Rs. 1074.65 crore), Eicher Motors (Rs. 1057.79 crore), SAIL (Rs. 973.39 crore) and Infosys (Rs. 958.53 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 164.7 points up at 16529.1, while BSE Sensex rose 593.31 points to 55437.29.
In the Nifty index, Tata Consumer Products Ltd. (up 4.29 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (up 3.33 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (up 2.77 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (up 2.23 per cent) and HCL Technologies Ltd. (up 2.09 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Eicher Motors Ltd. (down 2.67 per cent), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. (down 1.36 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (down 1.20 per cent), Cipla Ltd. (down 1.20 per cent) and Britannia Industries Ltd. (down 1.14 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
