Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today’s trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Devyani International Ltd., MPS Infotecnics, MRO-TEK Realty, SVP Global and Laxmi Organic Industries Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday’s trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 33.95 points up at 16563.05 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Windlas Biotech Ltd., Future Market, Aurobindo Pharma, Suryoday Small Finance Bank Ltd. and YES Bank, touched their fresh 52-week lows.

Overall, 22 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 28 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Steel, Bajaj Finance, M&M, Indian Oil Corp. and Britannia were among top gainers during the day, while Maruti Suzuki, Shree Cements, Power Grid, Bajaj Auto and Eicher Motors ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 145.29 points up at 55582.58.

Traders piled up positions in Diversified, Metals – Ferrous, Hospitals & Allied Services, Term Lending Institutions and Infrastructure sectors, while selling was witnessed in Petrochemicals, Power, Aquaculture, Tea / Coffee and Industrial Consumables sectors during the day.
