NEW DELHI: Aavas Financiers (Rs. 858.40 crore), Tata Steel (Rs. 162.34 crore), Greenply Inds (Rs. 107.89 crore), Asian Paints (Rs. 98.00 crore), Max Healthcare (Rs. 93.88 crore), Bajaj Finance (Rs. 74.97 crore), Vedanta (Rs. 70.94 crore), SBI (Rs. 63.70 crore), RIL (Rs. 54.82 crore) and Ibull Housing Fin (Rs. 53.09 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 118.35 points down at 16450.5, while BSE Sensex fell 300.17 points to 55329.32.
In the Nifty index, Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (up 5.36 per cent), Britannia Industries Ltd. (up 4.71 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd. (up 3.71 per cent), Nestle India Ltd. (up 3.49 per cent) and Bajaj Finance Ltd. (up 1.79 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Tata Steel Ltd. (down 8.32 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd. (down 7.17 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd. (down 5.46 per cent), UPL Ltd. (down 4.45 per cent) and Tata Motors Ltd. (down 3.49 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
