NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea (number of shares traded: 11.77 crore), MPS Infotecnics (number of shares traded: 6.15 crore), YES Bank (number of shares traded: 5.35 crore), Zomato Ltd. (number of shares traded: 2.49 crore), JP Power (number of shares traded: 2.46 crore), SAIL (number of shares traded: 2.33 crore), Ujjivan SFB (number of shares traded: 1.59 crore), Reliance Comm (number of shares traded: 1.16 crore), BHEL (number of shares traded: 1.12 crore) and Reliance Power (number of shares traded: 0.97 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:19AM in Monday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 52.75 points up at 16503.25, while BSE Sensex was up 223.65 points at 55552.97 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, HCL Technologies Ltd. (up 3.56 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd. (up 2.99 per cent), Wipro Ltd. (up 2.32 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (up 2.18 per cent) and Bajaj Finance Ltd. (up 1.78 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (down 2.25 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd. (down 1.61 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (down 1.54 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd. (down 1.53 per cent) and Grasim Industries Ltd. (down 1.01 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
