NEW DELHI: YES Bank (numbers of share traded: 11.58 crore), Vodafone Idea (numbers of share traded: 8.49 crore), NALCO (numbers of share traded: 6.20 crore), Suzlon Energy (numbers of share traded: 4.67 crore), Zomato Ltd. (numbers of share traded: 4.52 crore), SAIL (numbers of share traded: 4.32 crore), Bharti Airtel (numbers of share traded: 3.98 crore), JP Power (numbers of share traded: 3.37 crore), PNB (numbers of share traded: 3.16 crore) and BHEL (numbers of share traded: 2.97 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 225.85 points up at 16931.05, while BSE Sensex ended up 765.04 points at 56889.76.
On the other hand, Tech Mahindra Ltd. (down 1.81 per cent), Nestle India Ltd. (down 1.08 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd. (down 0.86 per cent), Infosys Ltd. (down 0.63 per cent) and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (down 0.51 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
