Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 350.41 points up at 57902.80 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, MRC Exim (down 20.00 per cent), Fine Line Circ (down 8.48 per cent), USG Tech (down 6.47 per cent), Raw Edge Industrial (down 5.98 per cent) and Perfectpac Ltd (down 5.75 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 30 stocks traded in the green, while 20 stocks traded in the red.

The Nifty index was trading 88.05 points up at 17220.25.

On the BSE, Premier Capital Services Ltd., Ace Men Engg Works, Rander Corp and Shalimar Prod hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Madhusudan Ind, Adani Transmission, Kemp & Co, Meghmani Finechem Ltd. and Quantum Build-Tech touched their fresh 52-week highs.
