NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea (numbers of share traded: 73.62 crore), YES Bank (numbers of share traded: 15.96 crore), Suzlon Energy (numbers of share traded: 6.76 crore), Delta Corp (numbers of share traded: 4.52 crore), PNB (numbers of share traded: 3.59 crore), BHEL (numbers of share traded: 3.50 crore), Trident Ltd (numbers of share traded: 3.49 crore), Vedanta (numbers of share traded: 3.33 crore), Zomato Ltd. (numbers of share traded: 2.79 crore) and NALCO (numbers of share traded: 2.77 crore) emerged top gainers in Thursday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 157.9 points up at 17234.15, while BSE Sensex ended up 514.33 points at 57852.54.
On the other hand, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (down 2.27 per cent), Coal India Ltd. (down 1.80 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd. (down 0.99 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (down 0.88 per cent) and Divi’s Laboratories Ltd. (down 0.71 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
