Coforge (up 1.84 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Infotech (up 1.04 per cent), MPhasis (up 0.76 per cent), Infosys (up 0.47 per cent) and Wipro (up 0.38 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Mindtree (down 0.92 per cent), HCL Technologies (down 0.53 per cent), Oracle Financial Services Software (down 0.25 per cent), Tech Mahindra (down 0.24 per cent) and Tata Consultancy (down 0.21 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty IT index was up 0.13 per cent at 34724.0 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 35.0 points at 17269.15, while the BSE Sensex was up 113.75 points at 57966.29.
