NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 17.43 points down at 58279.48 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Martin Burn (down 11.80 per cent), Rathi Bars (down 10.16 per cent), Ujjivan Financial (down 9.97 per cent), Trekkingtoes.com (down 9.92 per cent) and Interactive Fin. Ser (down 9.89 per cent) stood among the top losers in today’s trade.
In the Nifty pack, 19 stocks closed in the green, while 31 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 15.7 points down at 17362.1.
On the BSE, Ujjivan Financial, Ridings Consulting, Integrated Prot, High Street Fila and Welcon International hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Arman Financial, Neogen Chemicals, Auto Corp Goa, Bharat Gears and Zen Tech touched their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade.
