NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea (numbers of share traded: 106.07 crore), Dish TV India (numbers of share traded: 9.06 crore), YES Bank (numbers of share traded: 5.95 crore), BHEL (numbers of share traded: 4.18 crore), ITC (numbers of share traded: 3.75 crore), NALCO (numbers of share traded: 3.66 crore), IDFC First Bank (numbers of share traded: 3.66 crore), PNB (numbers of share traded: 3.10 crore), Zomato Ltd. (numbers of share traded: 3.04 crore) and SAIL (numbers of share traded: 2.94 crore) emerged top gainers in Tuesday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 15.7 points down at 17362.1, while BSE Sensex ended down 17.43 points at 58279.48.
On the other hand, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (down 1.83 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (down 1.80 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd. (down 1.78 per cent), Wipro Ltd. (down 1.78 per cent) and Axis Bank Ltd. (down 1.62 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
