Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 44.86 points up at 58324.34 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, NHC Foods (down 18.71 per cent), Triveni Glass (down 16.22 per cent), Yashraj Contain (down 9.95 per cent), Sun Retail (down 9.84 per cent) and Ashish Poly (down 8.92 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 26 stocks traded in the green, while 24 stocks traded in the red.

The Nifty index was trading 10.55 points up at 17372.65.

On the BSE, Sun Retail, FirstobjectTech, Aashka Hospitals Ltd., Premier Capital Services Ltd. and Emerald Leisures hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Arman Financial, Anmol India, Hind Oil Expl, Goldiam Intnl and Nakoda Group Of Ind touched their fresh 52-week highs.
