NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea (number of shares traded: 18.70 crore), Zee Ent. (number of shares traded: 11.33 crore), YES Bank (number of shares traded: 8.64 crore), Dish TV India (number of shares traded: 7.36 crore), Tata Power (number of shares traded: 4.11 crore), ONGC (number of shares traded: 2.52 crore), Zomato Ltd. (number of shares traded: 2.52 crore), South Indian Bnk (number of shares traded: 2.39 crore), GTL Infra (number of shares traded: 1.97 crore) and Reliance Power (number of shares traded: 1.79 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:40AM in Wednesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 81.3 points up at 17461.3, while BSE Sensex was up 233.83 points at 58480.92 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, NTPC Ltd. (up 4.57 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (up 3.55 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (up 3.50 per cent), Titan Company Ltd. (up 3.02 per cent) and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (up 2.13 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While JSW Steel Ltd. (down 0.78 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd. (down 0.78 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (down 0.65 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd. (down 0.54 per cent) and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (down 0.30 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
