Lupin (down 1.39 per cent), Aurobindo Pharma (down 0.84 per cent), Cadila Healthcare (down 0.52 per cent), Divis Laboratories (down 0.32 per cent) and Alkem Laboratories (down 0.17 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Pharma index was down 0.08 per cent at 14475.85 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 43.25 points at 17562.7, while the BSE Sensex was up 80.02 points at 58803.22.
