Mindtree (up 1.45 per cent) and Coforge (up 1.27 per cent) were among the top gainers.
MPhasis (down 1.24 per cent), Tata Consultancy (down 0.76 per cent), Oracle Financial Services Software (down 0.7 per cent), Tech Mahindra (down 0.62 per cent) and Infosys (down 0.57 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty IT index was down 0.46 per cent at 35908.8 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 4.75 points at 17524.2, while the BSE Sensex was up 130.96 points at 58854.16.
