NEW DELHI: IRCTC(Rs. 2564.90 crore), RIL(Rs. 2114.09 crore), Bharti Airtel(Rs. 1533.44 crore), Bajaj Finance(Rs. 1192.04 crore), Infosys(Rs. 1106.81 crore), HCL Tech(Rs. 1087.41 crore), Tata Steel(Rs. 1037.84 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 1025.14 crore), Maruti Suzuki(Rs. 1001.26 crore) and ICICI Bank(Rs. 968.93 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Tuesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 106.5 points down at 17748.6, while BSE Sensex fell 410.28 points to 59667.6.
In the Nifty index, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 4.52 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(up 4.49 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(up 4.02 per cent), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.(up 3.62 per cent) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 2.14 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 3.65 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 3.44 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 3.23 per cent), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 3.01 per cent) and Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 2.67 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
