Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 2.16%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (down 1.94%), KRISHANA(down 1.75%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 1.61%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 1.53%), G S F C(down 1.17%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 0.83%), Madras Fertlizers(down 0.64%), Aries Agro(down 0.41%) and National Fertilizer(down 0.17%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 88.1 points down at 17660.5, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 410.38 points at 59257.22 at around 11:13AM.
Coal India(up 8.45%), NTPC(up 5.91%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 3.94%), Indian Oil Corporation(up 2.56%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 1.93%), Divis Laboratories(up 1.32%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 0.82%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 0.8%), Cipla(up 0.77%) and Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 0.56%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Tech Mahindra(down 2.15%), ICICI Bank(down 2.07%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 1.45%), Hero MotoCorp(down 1.44%), UltraTech Cement(down 1.41%), HDFC Bank(down 1.37%), Maruti Suzuki(down 1.33%), Wipro(down 1.31%), HDFC(down 1.25%) and Infosys(down 1.21%) were trading in the red.
