Shares of Oberoi Realty(up 5.41 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 3.37 per cent), SOBHA(up 3.01 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(up 0.77 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate(up 0.69 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Sunteck Realty(down 3.54 per cent), Phoenix Mills(down 3.28 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(down 3.26 per cent) and Hemisphere Properties India(down 0.64 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 1.13 per cent up at 506.35.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 37.3 points at 17711.3, while the BSE Sensex stood down 254.33 points at 59413.27.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 28 ended in the green, while 22 closed in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, BHEL, Tata Power and PNB were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of PTC India, Max Ventures Ind, Godfrey Philips, Arvind SmartSpaces and 8K Miles Soft hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while CarTrade Tech Ltd., Suvidhaa Infoserve Ltd., Opto Circuits, Shrem InvIT and Transwind Infrastruc hit their fresh 52-week lows.
