Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 3.45 points to 17707.85 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.
However, stocks such as Opto Circuits, Inventure Grwth, CarTrade Tech Ltd., BKM Industries and Shrem InvIT, touched their fresh 52-week low.
Overall, 21 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 28 traded in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, Sun Pharma, NTPC, Dr. Reddys, Bajaj Finserv and Titan Company were among top gainers, while Power Grid, Hero MotoCorp, Eicher Motors, Shree Cements and Bajaj Auto traded in the red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 25.83 points up at 59439.10 at 11:26AM(IST).
Traders were seen piling up positions in Beverages – Alcoholic, Diversified, Paper, Infrastructure and Retail sectors, while selling was visible in IT – Hardware, Learning & Education, Textiles, Petrochemicals and Power sectors.
