Britannia Industries(down 0.55%), Dodla Dairy(down 0.36%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.32%) and Vadilal Industries(down 0.31%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 158.7 points up at 17804.7, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 533.56 points at 59723.29 at around 11:26AM.
Tata Motors(up 9.22%), Titan Company Ltd(up 8.94%), Maruti Suzuki(up 4.03%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 3.94%), HCL Technologies(up 2.72%), Tech Mahindra(up 2.26%), IndusInd Bank(up 2.2%), Bajaj Auto(up 2.19%), Eicher Motors(up 2.1%) and Asian Paints(up 1.79%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 2.59%), Divis Laboratories(down 1.31%), Cipla(down 1.09%), Coal India(down 0.93%), Britannia Industries(down 0.55%), HDFC(down 0.38%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 0.38%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.33%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(down 0.31%) and Bajaj Finserv(down 0.22%) were trading in the red.
