The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 381.23 points up at 60059.06, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 104.85 points up at 17895.2.
In the Nifty50 index, 23 stocks closed in the green, while 27 stocks ended in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as DRC Systems India Ltd., Syncom Form, Taylormade Renewable, Shivam Autotech and Kamat Hotels hit their fresh 52-week high, while SBL Infratech Ltd., India Green Reality, Arihant Tourne, Multipurp Trad and Indian Bright touched their new 52-week low in today’s trade.
