NEW DELHI: YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 33.20 crore), Rail Vikas Nigam(numbers of share traded: 16.33 crore), Federal Bank(numbers of share traded: 12.89 crore), Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 11.51 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 10.23 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 9.73 crore), Tata Power(numbers of share traded: 8.58 crore), Bank of Baroda(numbers of share traded: 8.29 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 6.05 crore) and South Indian Bnk(numbers of share traded: 5.99 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 63.2 points down at 18114.9, while BSE Sensex ended down 101.88 points at 60821.62.
On the other hand, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 4.72 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 3.56 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 3.37 per cent), ITC Ltd.(down 3.31 per cent) and Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 2.40 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
