Shares of Phoenix Mills(up 4.19 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Macrotech Developers(down 8.1 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(down 5.59 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(down 3.87 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(down 3.49 per cent) and Godrej Properties(down 3.04 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 2.77 per cent down at 496.45.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 10.5 points at 18125.4, while the BSE Sensex stood up 145.43 points at 60967.05.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 12 ended in the green, while 37 closed in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, PNB, Bank of Baroda and ICICI Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of ICICI Bank, Arihant Found, MRPL, Shoppers Stop and KEC Int. hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Airo Lam, Huhtamaki PPL, Synergy Green Ind, Suvidhaa Infoserve Ltd. and Generic Engg hit their fresh 52-week lows.
