ZUARIAGRO(down 0.64%), G S F C(down 0.11%), Aries Agro(down 0.04%) and Coromandel International(down 0.01%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 20.45 points up at 18288.85, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 40.61 points at 61390.87 at around 10:09AM.
Asian Paints(up 4.53%), Divis Laboratories(up 2.51%), SBI Life(up 1.61%), ICICI Bank(up 1.51%), State Bank of India(up 1.47%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 1.47%), Cipla(up 0.98%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 0.95%), UPL Ltd(up 0.89%) and Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 0.86%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Axis Bank(down 3.91%), Bajaj Finance(down 3.22%), Tata Motors(down 1.53%), Bajaj Finserv(down 1.3%), IndusInd Bank(down 1.07%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 1.07%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.41%), Coal India(down 0.4%), Maruti Suzuki(down 0.34%) and Bajaj Auto(down 0.34%) were trading in the red.
