NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 167.93 points down at 60550.78 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Mayukh Dealtrade(down 20.00 per cent), Konndor Industries(down 10.00 per cent), IZMO (down 9.98 per cent), Charms Ind(down 9.93 per cent) and DRA Consultants(down 9.90 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 26 stocks traded in the green, while 24 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 41.35 points down at 18068.1.
On the BSE, Naapbooks Ltd., Narayani Steels, ERP Soft Sys, Tiaan Ayurvedic & He and Vikas WSP hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Bigbloc Const, Tamboli Capital, PB Fintech Ltd., TV Today Network and Pradeep Metals touched their fresh 52-week highs.
