NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Starline Precious(up 19.93%), Tarini International(up 19.84%), Dhunseri Invst(up 18.49%) and RTCL Ltd(up 18.44%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.
The 30-share index, BSE was trading 668.29 points down at 58967.72, while the 50-share index, NSE was 193.25 points down at 17571.55.
In the Nifty50 index, 9 stocks traded in the green, while 41 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as Starline Precious, Dhunseri Invst, SBC Exports, Promax Power Ltd. and Vishal Bearings Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week high, while Fino Payments Bank Ltd., One97 Communications Ltd., SBL Infratech Ltd., GCM Comm and Aayush Food & Herbs touched their new 52-week low during the session.
