NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 48.83 crore), Tata Power(number of shares traded: 4.85 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 4.71 crore), GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 4.42 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 3.21 crore), Tata Motors(number of shares traded: 2.58 crore), SAIL(number of shares traded: 2.45 crore), Tata Tele(number of shares traded: 2.37 crore), PNB(number of shares traded: 2.16 crore) and Zomato Ltd.(number of shares traded: 2.08 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:50AM in Monday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 37.0 points down at 16989.45, while BSE Sensex was down 61.64 points at 57045.51 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 2.64 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 2.13 per cent), Reliance Industries Ltd.(up 2.06 per cent), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.83 per cent) and Cipla Ltd.(up 1.54 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 3.27 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 2.81 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 2.41 per cent), Nestle India Ltd.(down 1.94 per cent) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 1.91 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
