Shares of Indiabulls Real Estate (up 6.65 per cent), Phoenix Mills (up 1.56 per cent), Sobha (up 1.05 per cent), Brigade Enterprises (up 0.95 per cent) and DLF (up 0.8 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Oberoi Realty (down 1.96 per cent), Sunteck Realty (down 1.48 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (down 0.7 per cent), Godrej Properties (down 0.27 per cent) and Omaxe (down 0.14 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.38 per cent up at 357.2 around 02:51PM.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 0.90 points at 15315.6, while the BSE Sensex was down 52.61 points at 52101.52.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 24 were trading in the green, while 26 were in the red.
